intelx.io shows this error message when the input text was not recognized as search selector. See the Selector documentation for supported input search terms.

☠️ Restricted Search Term!

intelx.io shows this error message when the search term is likely restricted. This is done in rare instances to balance the legitimate interests of the owner of the search target.

Login Error: The provided login information is invalid.

If the login form shows this error, the underlying cause could be the following:

1. You entered an invalid username or password. Did you make a typo?
2. Did you forget the password? Reset it here https://intelx.io/password-reset.
3. Did you just sign up for a new account? Does the email address on login match the one you used for registration? When in doubt, try to sign up again at https://intelx.io/signup.
4. Did you share your account with others, who changed the password? Sharing your account is against our Terms of Service and will result in termination.
5. If you believe your paid account has been compromised, please follow the steps here.
6. If you violated our Terms of Service, your account may have been terminated.

You are temporarily blocked due to malicious activity detected from your IP

Our application firewall automatically blocks IP addresses upon detected malicious activity. We have to take such efforts to stop attacks against our users. Bans are temporary. Try again the next day. Bans are applied on IP level which may affect users behind shared IPs (such as offices).
