Search
Why am I seeing different search results?
Observing different search results for the same input (the same search term and filters) can be normal and occur in a variety of instances. There is no guarantee that an exact same search returns exactly the same results.
- New search results may have been added or some removed.
- Limitations: When many search results are returned and the max results per bucket is reached, then the search stops for that bucket. Multiple searches may return a different window of that max result count per bucket. In such cases it is recommended to filter based on dates and buckets.
- Internal maintenance: During server upgrades not all results may be available.
- Timeouts: Internal timeouts may influence the number of results returned.
- Different API instances: Depending on the assigned license, users may use different API instances that have different internal limitations and timeouts.
Can I perform a full-text search?
Full-text search is not supported. It will never be. Please refer to the Get started and Selector documentation to learn how to use Intelligence X effectively.
Can I search using regular expressions (regex)?
No.
Can I use boolean operators such as “AND”, “OR”, etc?
No. Boolean operators are not supported. Please use the filters in the “Advanced” menu next to the Search button to refine your search. After searching, click “Show Statistics” in the top left to filter results by data source, file type, and date. Any further filtering needs to be done client-side.

Why do I not see the exact source of the archived data?
We are unable to provide more details on individual search results than what is already available on http://intelx.io. You can use the bucket and the title to determine the overall source of the data.
Do you accept user submissions of data to index or archive?
No. As per our policy, we do not accept user submissions.
